The delicious smaller versions of the classic spaghetti, spaghettini, are a format from southern Italy, especially from Naples. Hot or cold sauces based on fresh tomatoes, vegetables or aromatic herbs are tasty and suitable for this format. Quickly made sauces with extra virgin olive oil and garlic, chilli, and anchovies are also great. Fish sauces based on shellfish and seafood can also be combined excellently with spaghettini.
